Suburban

These were multi-year plates, renewable with annual stickers, and were used on station wagons at the time, a term more likely today would be an SUV or crossover, although PennDOT still uses the term SW (station wagon) as a type of vehicle. They all had the characteristic Q in the serial number, except for Amateur Radio and Press Photographer plates. Plate legend PA SUBURBAN 60, all 6-character plates used a small keystone separator between the 3rd and 4th character.
